School Night for Scouting
School Night to Join Scouting is rapidly approaching. We have had a great
turnout at the SNTJS training sessions. The "official" District-wide rally
dates are as follows:
Klein ISD - September 9th. Paperwork turn in at Klein LDS Stake Center (
16535 Kleinwood, Spring, TX 77379)
Magnolia ISD - September 11th. Paperwork turn in at Magnolia United
Methodist Church (419 Commerce Street, Magnolia, TX 77355)
Spring ISD - September 16th. Paperwork turn in at Troop 1659 Scout Hut (@
Reynolds Elementary - 3975 Gladeridge Drive, Houston, TX 77068)
Tomball ISD - September 18th. Paperwork turn in at the Denny's in Tomball
(14010 FM 2920, Tomball, TX 77377)
All registration forms, attendance forms, money, and extra materials need
to be brought to the designated District turn-in center immediately
following the rally night. The turn-in centers will be open from 7 pm
until all units report.

High Adventure Luau Date Change
The High Adventure Luau at Bovay, scheduled for August 29 and 30, has been changed. Due to events beyond our control, we have been asked to change the date to September 19 and 20, 2008. We are very sorry for the change and hope your Crew will still be able to attend!
If you sent your registration into Council, you should be getting a phone call about the change from Randy Hoenig, our Venture Exec. If you mailed the forms to the event or turned them in at Roundtable, you will get an email later this week asking if you can still attend or would like us to return your fee's.
If you had not signed up, please watch for email and the SHAC web-site for new details and registration deadlines.
